Today's NASCAR Race- Kansas

This week’s NASCAR Nextel Cup Series at starts with the “Countdown to Green“ at 12:30pm CT. On NBC.
The Green flag is scheduled to drop at 1:10 PM CT.

The race is at the Kansas Speedway, in Kansas City, Kansas. That’s a lot of Kansas…..
It is a 1.5 mile tri-oval track. Many in NASCAR refer to these as “cookie cutter” tracks. Speeds will be fast, 170-180 MPH.

This race sometimes can come down to a fuel mileage race.
Many times in NASCAR, the best car does not win the race. There are too many other factors to consider. Wrecks, blown engines, mistakes on pit road, running out of fuel…many factors can ruin a good day for a driver.

But both my men are starting on the front row today!!!!
Matt Kenseth in 1st place and Elliott Sadler starts along side him in 2nd place.

Good luck to all the drivers, but GO MATT and ELLIOTT!!!!!!!! Kick some NASCAR ass!!!!!!
