Newman putting out fires off the track

Ryan Newman made the headlines of the News-Topic in Lenoir, N.C., this week, but it didn't have anything to do with driving fast.
The paper reported that Newman and two men were dining at Sledgehammer Charlie's when a fire broke out.
One of Newman's pals, who used to work for the local fire department, led the three of them up on the roof of the restaurant. There, Newman used his Leatherman, a combination pocket knife and multipurpose tool, to open a ventilation cover so his firefighter friend could extinguish the flames.
Ken Briscoe, the city's fire chief, told the paper that Newman made a pretty good impromptu firefighter. And he seemed like a pretty good fellow, too.
"He was very personable and polite," Briscoe said. "He did a great job up there knocking the fire down."

Yes they are my little "tire pups". Both like Smoke. Big one likes Martin Truex and 2 yr. old loves Junior and Harvick.
